Take in some history at the National Museum a mere 2kms from the hotel. Try your luck at the Mayfair and Las Vegas Casinos, or get in some sport action at the Parklands Sports Club a kilometre away. No journey to Kenya is complete without a game drive around the Nairobi National Park, so make time for the 10km trip from the hotel.
Nairobi is a fascinating place with many local attractions on offer. Before departing for the parks, reserves and islands in the rest of the country it is well worth spending a day or two exploring this wonderful city. We recommend hiring a reputable tour or taxi service through the hotel to drive you to the various local attractions.

The Nairobi National Museum is home to great pre-historic finds including relics from mankind’s earliest ancestors. There are also fascinating sections on art, geology, wildlife and local history, along with an attached snake park where some of the world’s largest and most venomous snakes are displayed.

Karen Blixen was a notable Kenyan personality who authored acclaimed books under the name Isak Dinesen, including
Out of Africa which inspired an Oscar winning film of the same name. The Karen Blixen Museum retains much of its original furniture and other photographs and items of interest.
